Now do not get me wrong.... I like Manhattan Beach.
The place is real pretty and the air is clean. What I do not like it the "nose in the air" treatment you get from some of the locals there. Not all just the rich ones who do not think you should be in their town.

Once the movie companies started to build in the area the prices for houses jumped sky high and people started to sell off their land so that two houses could be built on one lot.

But as a place to go it is a must if you are in the south bay area.

Check out my tips on the pier, it is the place to go and see the town from a different angle and there is a nice aquarium at the end of the pier.

At the Big VT meeting on August 1st it was also a few VT staff members birthdays. Check out the pics in my TL of the meeting and of the birthday boys.

The big weekend VT bash has ended and it was everything that the crew of VT said it would be. It was nice to meet new friends and to see some of the old ones as well.
Many thanks are due to the staff for keeping this all going.... they have been doing such a great job and have provided an awesome fourm for us all to tell all about different places around the world.
