Sunrise
The sunrise over Cascais is one of the things that you need to see. Many places have beautiful sunsets but do not have good sunrises. Cascais has both and will treat you to them over time.

Old house
Out about 2 kilometers from town, west along the sea road you will find a place called Gincho and the Casa de Gincho.
Casa de Gincho is a museum, bookstore and “house and Home” type place with companies showing how to fix up your place.
The building is old and has a charm to it. You can see in its settings that it once was a beautiful home and gardens. Today the gardens have been changed into little eating and walking places with very nice views.
Take some time to walk around the house and then walk around the gardens. When you are done have a bica (coffee) and sit and watch the sea.
