Cascais - The best place to live.

by TinKan - last update: Jan 21, 2003

My dream home town

Along the sea
Over the years of travel and work I have visited Portugal many time and when given the opportunity to live here I could not say no.

Portugal is (IMHO) the best place in the world to live as the people are the friendliest, the food is fantastic and the country is beautiful.

Being in the military and stationed overseas for so long and then working as a communications consultant I have had to moved around a lot and have had to live in many strange places but Portugal is and always will be the best place to work and live for me. Nowhere in my travels have I found a people with such strong feelings that LIFE comes first before all else. By life I mean living it and enjoying all that there is.

It is funny.... I travel so much around the world and now live here but I have never been to Lisbon, which is just down the road from me. I guess I am going to need to make a special trip some day soon.

UPDATE:

Well another travel is about to start.... Looks like we are moving again... This time we do not know where we are going.……… (Some times I hate my job)

I guess we are going to start from California and will see where we will end up.

07-01-02
Well it is getting closer to the move time... Wonder where I will live next?

07-13-02
It is strange for me.... I am now one week away from moving and I do not want to go. This place has felt more like home to me than any place else in the world.
I have made so many friends and have enjoyed being here and exploring this country. I will miss Portugal and it's great people.

GOOD BYE PORTUGAL
WE WILL MISS YOU.
