There is an old theater near the river that is said to be one of the most complete ruins of it's type. There was a lot of construction and restoration going on when we were there but we were able to walk around it and see most of it. Check my Travel Log for more pictures of the theater.

Off The Beaten Path: Fruit and veggie stand

Dotted around the city on different days you will find fruit and veggie markets. At the markets you will also find real good clothes and bargins. These are the places that the locals shop for their every day needs. One of the biggest markets was the "Thiefs Market" where you use to be able to find everything and anything. I once found some old communications equipment that I had needed for a project I was working on back in 1981. You could also find all of your stuff there if it was ever stolen. Guess that is why it is no longer around.
