Favorite Thing: Around the forum area you will find many unique doors and entranceways to explore. It is great to walk around and think that through these doors and entrance ways, great artist, poets, historians and warriors have walked.
Fondest Memory: You can easily spend a full day at the Forum and I do not think you will ever see it all.

Favorite Thing: Walk, walk and more walking.... it is the key to seeing the city of Rome. When walking around Rome always look up and try to take some of the walking streets or go down some of the more populated side streets. You will see so much more of Rome than just the major attractions. Just walk from one place to the other, keep your eyes open and take it all in.
Fondest Memory: Rome is a great place to people watch. You can sit and watch the fasion show around 4 pm when the families come out all dressed up for the evening. For the best view of the city of Rome go to the top of St Angelos .....

Favorite Thing: One of the things you should see (and can not help but see) is the monument to the military. You can not go inside ( at least I never have been able to) but a walk around the building will impress you. If you ever see pictures of speeches made during WW-II you will see large crowds use to gather here to listen to the latest from their leaders.
Fondest Memory: There is a nice row of coffee shops across the street that you can sit and watch the lights come on at night and just watch the people go by. Look in my travel log for more pictures of this monument to the military

Favorite Thing: You can never get enough of the columns in Rome. They are everywhere. This little building is near the river and the old theater.
