To me .... this is heaven.

We took a little trip to Germany for a week just to get away from work in Lisbon and it was so refreshing to see all the green and to go around some of my old stomping grounds.

We did visit like 6 castles an old fortress, a hideout for Hitler, Munich as well as walked around some great countryside all in 7 1/2 days.

We also went to the highest peak in Germany (Zugspitze) as well as to Austria for a two day visit. Talk about bang for the buck.

The travel-logs have information on Dachau, Mittenwald and a few other places. Take a look.
