    • You will find many locals that come to the lake island not for the palace or for the tours but come just for the parks and open fields.
    The parks are nicely laid out with good walking and cart paths and the walkways are always clean. Take a walk and enjoy what nature brings.

     An interresting page and great pics ! Herrenchiemsee is in fact a great place to go ! Unfortunately I missed the interior as I came too late !
