Culture and Clubbing

Cusco is the one place in South America that your mom would consider going. Probably because everyone has heard of Macchu Picchu. Plus, you don't have to slum it in this town.

There is a TON to see and do in and around Cusco. The sacred valley and Machu Picchu and the city itself are great to explore.

Not only can you learn all about Quechua culture, but you can party your brains out with all the other tourists. It's loads of fun. BUT, being a tourist town has it's drawbacks. Don't expect to be able to walk around the main square in peace. You'll be hounded by vendors of all sorts.

Quechua

Quechua was the language of the Inca empire, and is still used today.

Pros:"Great Food, Clubs, and Culture"
Cons:"Keep a tight hold on your wallet. Seems like a good place to spend too much money or have it stolen."
In A Nutshell:"Backpacker Central"

I had a similar experience only that I was one with a terrible company. T In any case, I would recommend going just not using Extreme Eco Tours, it put a real damper on the trip.
