Well I have been back in the US for over two years now (boy, time really flies!). I am still missing my beautiful little town of Cascais. I am truly grateful for the time I spent in Portugal. It gave me a new outlook on the world and opportunities to meet people and go place that I will remember forever.
Before I left: I am an American (originally from Southern California) and I have had the good fortune to live and work in Portugal for over 2 years now.
Portugal is a very pretty country and the people here are some of the best. My assignment is over soon so I will probably be leaving, but I will always have great memories of my time here.
I live outside of Lisbon in a lovely little town called Cascais.
If you are in the Lisbon area and want to spend a day relaxing at the beach, check out Cascais or Estoril. You can get there from Lisbon by train and the beaches are very nice. See my Cascais/Estoril travelogue. |
