Schwabischer Versaille - Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg is situated in 20 minutes from center of Stuttgart and you may get it by means of S-Bahn. It's the country residence of Land's Herzogs. The castle was built in 1704 by Herzog Eberhard Ludwig. It seems (I'll find it out), that he, as well, planned and built the town around. There are 452 rooms in the castle, huge park with interesting places!! I've been to Ludwigsburg in December 31 and there were less people and unfortunately I wasn't inside. |
