It was great travel, one of the wonderful in my life. Mild climate and mountains, mountains, mountains. I've been there with my parents. We had excursion in Kislovodsk to mineral water springs, in Nalchick to mountains. Besides I'd seen Elbrus, the highest peak in Russia. It's place I recommend to visit. In the picture I've got a "USSR tourist" sign in the peak of Beshtau Mountain (1402 m). |
| | Mountains around In the picture I am in the front of HoneyWaterfall with my father. The waterfall got its name because the bees lived here years ago. |
| | Lermontov's (Russian fampous poet) duel place It used to be very popular in Russia in XIX century to defend honour by taking part in the duel. But it depends on luck and many good people died in this dangerous competition. Pushkin and Lermontov, the famous Russian poets of that time, were killed in duels. |
