Restaurant Name: Russian Cuisine

They say it is vegetarian restaurant although you can have here a lot of "hard" food like fried potato with mushrooms for exampe. In my opinion, it is not vegetarian :-) I heard about this place several times and decided to visit it with my friend. The menu is great but the atmosphere is touristic. In any way we spent wonderful time drinking local nastoyka (a kind of liquer) with salted foods.

The restaurant was in front of my hotel and I visited it. It is Lebanese cuisine here. The interior is nice and not much people because it is situated not on the big street and less people know about the restaurant I guess.

In the beginning of Sredny Prospekt on Vasil’evsky Island there is Italian restaurant Mama Roma with rich choice of pizza and pasta. The wine card is big as well. There is nice atmosphere and interior of cellar although the hall is not underground.

Very interesting restaurant of the Mexican food. The interior is really cute (you may see on the picture) with interesting style of the tables (made from glass). The restaurant is situated not far from Letny Sad, in Pestel' Street.

Restaurant Name: European Cuisine

It is very nice place to have a dinner and it seems popular because while we were there there was a queue in the doors. I said We and that was the VT meeting there. The cuisine is good and it is not expenasive (in my opinion of Moscow resident :-)))

Tin'koff is a beer restaurant that brews own beer. I was there with my colleagues and we tasted 4 sorts. I like white non-filtered beer. It seems the different parties take place here and while we were there we found some advertising of the beer parties during 10 days, one of the day is when Russian football team plays against Estonian team and the restaurant promised to give beer (0.5 litre) as a gift to every one when Russian team scores a goal :-)) Nice idea it seems :-)

Shafran is a restaurant with Uzbek cuisine, I noticed it when I walked around and one day I decided to visit it with my mate who came form Moscow too. We both were satisfied with food and service though later I read some not good impressions in Internet about the restaurant. We spent 5 hours eating Uzbek food and sweets with tea and some special Uzbek meals. I am very satisfied with it as a relaxing place. Of course we left money a lot for our long dinner but I think the average check for usual dinner will be around RUR 600-700 (EUR 20 around).

Restaurant Name: European Cuisine

Premium is two-floors restaurant that is located near of the place I worked in during the business trip and we almost every day got dinner there. We use so named business lunch and never been in evening, so I don't know whether the main dishes are good. But lunch was good (RUR 170 per person).

Barbaria is a restaurant with Middle East and Mediterranian cuisine. Interior is nice and the service is good as well. It was not far from my hotel I stayed in during my business trip and during 2 weeks I was there twice. The average check is around RUR 1000 (EUR 30).
