    • Of course, it is normally when church shows its icons of pictures on the walls but it was first time in my life when I saw that churches are used as real exhibition halls. It happened in Amsterdam with me. I think I was struck much cause the first exhibition I saw was photo gallery in the old church.

    • Some people in Amsterdam prefer to live on the water. In the boat houses that are stayed along many channels in the city. I think it is very interesting to live in such appartments, although I wouldn't like to live long time.

    • There is traffic in the canals. And there is not only for tourists but for ships that carry with cargo. There are several bridges that are raised periodically during a day that let some big cargos go. It is very interesting process when the street traffis are stopped and the bridge is raising. You see it in the pic, the raising that happened near of Hermitage palace.

    • I think it is quite possible just to walk around the city and to have pleasure just from views of the city, streets, people and especially canals. There are wonderful views from bridges along the different canals. Enjoy!

    • Well, I don't like the drugs but the posibility to get it in the usual shop, - funny idea. So you can taste some light drugs in the coffeeshop and if I understood rightly you can do it if you are over 18. By the way some guys in the narrow streets in the center of the city, in evening time, offered me any sort of drugs. So, choose and I hope you won't lose your head :-)
