Antalya, Turkey

by bugulma - last update: Sep 11, 2002

When I landed to Antalya airport, the guide said to me that the swimming season is over (it was October 22). I was in schock. He told inhabitants don't swim 'cause the temperature is low in the sea. I ask him what temperature is in the water and he answered +30. I was calmed (in Russia, we have +22 round in the Black Sea shore and everybody's happy to swim in the sea).

I've never been to such a salty place.

Andrey, lovely little page about Antalya. The Club Hotel Sera really seems to have been a bargain. Unfortunately I have never been to Turkeý, but maybe I should take it into consideration. Have a lovely Sunday.

Good enough to have a rest at the sea, swim and sunbathe. If it is added with excursions it was really great! You saved your skin but I failed to make in Hurghada...

Judging from your tips, you really enjoyed yourself in and around Antalya! The hotel sounds great and I too am always amazed whenever I see something the Romans built so long ago!
