Guelph is home to a University that is known for specialization in life sciences. The city has a distinct Italian presence in town.
The county's geographical area covers 1,025.74 square miles (2,656.65 km2). Wellington County is predominantly rural in nature, though many of its residents commute to Guelph, Kitchener, Brampton, Mississauga, and even Toronto.
Grand River Conservation Authority maintains Elora Gorge Conservation area that offers best campgrounds in Southeastern Ontario. Grand River flows through the gorge and attracts lovers of tubing and kayaking.
The Authority also maintains Rockwood Conservation Area that offers canoeing and kayaking in a haven for geologists.

Another interesting page Faiza..I have a friend that graduated from Guelph U a few years ago...and I've never been there yet.BTW...thanks for dropping by my Ha Noi pages...drop in again soon. Just maybe it'll be finished by then..I'm Glad you enjoyed it!!
Right near the covered bridge- where the Speed river intersects Gordon st is the Boathouse. They have great ice cream, but also have canoe and kayak rentals. The prices aren't that bad either if you're still interested.
This must be an amazing place to study aty with all the natural wonders...the kayaking looks a bit rough though, but exciting!
Guelph looks like a very pleasant place for one to relax and enjoy. Great tips.
I liked the tent, a good way to chill. How about tubing? We used to do it in our childhood. Another very good page from you. You all look so relaxed at the camp!!
I am convinced that visiting Guelph will be worth it. With the description you made, I feel that this is one place I want to see. The University of Guelph will be a nice place too.
