Touristy yet once in a life time experience

On this page, we will take you along with us exactly the same way we explored this fantabulus destination.

Mont-Tremblant is located 100 kms north of Montreal and is a 4 seasons tourist area. Summer of 2007 culminated with a week long visit to this touristy yet thrilling destination.

The city itself is divided into 3 sectors - the St. Jovite Sector, the Village sector, where we stayed, and the Mountain Sector, which is the starting point for all the major mountain related activities.

This is the region of lakes, forests, bikers trails, eautiful architecture, and rolling hills finally giving way to the highest mountain in Quebec, that is, Mont-Tremblant.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Many touristy and adventurous activities, close to Montreal
  • Cons:Slightly expensive, gets crowded on weekends
  • In a nutshell:One can have many off the beaten path adventures in this touristic destination.

Another lovely page! Yourself and your family must be really fit to tackle everything here, and it sounds like you had a great time. Nothing like "the great outdoors!'

Oh, what a wonderful experience for the family! My favorite tip was about the "calesche"! You did so much with the hike, boat, walks, canoe, gondola, and luge. Wonderful resort. Great information that was helpful and interesting.

Interesting look at an eastern ski area in the summer, when water gear takes priority.

Great Tremblant page! I've only ever seen it in the winter time, so it's nice to see how the area looks in when not covered in snow :)
