Chicago is my favorite city in the US, maybe even the world. I grew up only 30 miles away and many of my summer vacation memories include the big attractions and museums of the city. I don't think any skyline is prettier than the Sears Tower and Hancock Buildings along the lake |

| | Chinatown A visit to Chicago isn't complete without a visit to Chinatown. It takes you to a whole different city, or even part of the world. Be sure to stop at one of the bakeries to bring a little of China home with you - a BBQ pork bun or a bun with sweet bean paste. Yum!!!! |
Cultural Capital of the the Midwest If you are looking for culture, you don't need to look any further than the great museums of the city. The museum campus has earth, sea and sky covered (Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium), and arts and sciences can be found just a few miles away (Art Institute and Museum of Science and Industry). | | |
