The thing that you can pick about is the parking fees. Itīs usually 10-15$ for parking or per hour. When we were going around in Chicago we parked the car about 3 or 4 times and paid together about 40$ - thatīs quite alot for the city trip. If you find a place where to leave your car and it will not cost so awfully lot, then walk around and use the cab. It will be cheaper in the end than just park alot and pay like crazy.

Nemorino Tue Nov 8, 2005 22:12 UTC Nice photos! My father used to work in one of the squalid little buildings that were torn down to make room for the Sears Tower. (Happy birthday, by the way -- it's mine, too.) | Sharrie Sat Feb 21, 2004 13:32 UTC I've grown to love big cities... it has a vibrancy & life force that smaller city lacks though not in charm. But it is an experience that's unique, esp. when viewed from the very top... all those people who live there, it's mind-boggling! | Thomascalvo Sat Nov 8, 2003 13:02 UTC Great page, the skyline pic from Sears tower is great. By the way, I wish you a happy Birthday | activ_way_traveler Wed Sep 24, 2003 23:16 UTC Yes it costs us a fortune! Once, with a group of company friends, we tryed to grad a drink at macdonalds and leave the rented car there for some hours ... it worked! lucky?? Nuno |
