Sadly, for me, by the time I got to Leiden I was struggling a little with my travels; starting to think too much of home and other things.
It's a town that deserves longer than I gave it but, once I got settled in, I found it an interesting destination.
Due to my appalling lack of research in this instance, I didn't realise Keukenhof was just down the road and, when I actually went there, I was staying in Amsterdam.
If you plan to visit then, if I tell you it's a university town, you'll get a general idea of the atmosphere. |
