Great page Ian! It brings back quite a few memories of when I visited many many years ago. Way back in the days when digital cameras didn't exist :-) Wouln't mind going back there though and see it with new fresh eyes.

Hello Ian,
I read with much interest your new page on Herculanum. Although we staid several times in Sorrento and the Costa Amalfitana we avoided Herculanum because the back streets of Ercolano had no better reputation than those of Naples. Maybe we were wrong.

Such amazing photos of Herculaneum, and I've enjoyed reading your tips. I went to Pompeii when I was in Italy, but was told I should have (also?) gone to Herculaneum. Thanks!
