I visited here because someone, somewhere, had given it a bit of a write up. It wasn't in my original plans but we only had limited time to stop on our Paris-Dijon route so I chose Flavigny.
In the end we stumbled over Semur-en-Auxois and blew all our time there but we went past Flavigny and took a couple of pics. On our last day in Dijon I decided Flavigny deserved more time so I returned and was not disappointed.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Easy to get around, village is making an effort to promote tourism
  • Cons:Tourist office only open weekends
