What lies beneath

I didn't expect much but it was a town that had some services where you could buy food and fuel. Actually, it was more your village with a couple of grain silos standing prominent at the apex of the bay.
We drove around the right hand side and stopped at a small cliff to take some shots. I remarked to Bob at how much like the Greek Islands this all was and the only thing missing was all the tourists and some whitewashed villages.
It turned out that tourists do come here though not in great numbers. A little further on on Cape Finniss were a couple of sculptures left over from a symposium, the head in particular we found very striking.
A little further on was a wonderful table, but the table held a dark secret. A tragic tale of a great white shark and a terrible 24 hours in South Australia when two surfers were taken within that time at two different locations. It's a reminder that all is not as it seems beneath the surface.
