Passing through

It was suggested to us by our hosts that we travel the Loire from Saumur to Le Thoureil because the river is prettier there than going in the other direction. Le Thoureil also got a bit of a rap itself. We didn't know at the time that the two ladies who were our hosts also had a boat there.
