O'ahu, Island of Choice | Typical scene at the beach |
What better way to see what O'ahu is really all about than to live it! It's busy on this island, and may give you the false impression that life is a speedway! Once you drive past the city limits of Honolulu, you will exprerience a slightly slower paced lifestyle on the island. Stop and talk stories with the island folk and you will feel a genuine warmth from the land of aloha. |
| | Odd plants around the Island Don't just look ... experience! We have blooming plants year round, to everything it's own season. Keep your eyes and mind open ... you're sure to come across many "odd" plants. We have several Botanical Gardens that will help classify many of the flowers and trees found throughout the island. I found this plant (Stapelia gigantea) at the base of the Diamond Head Trail. |
See a Sunset every night Even our sunsets are ever changing! In my opinion, northshore has the best sunsets, but I've seen some pretty spectacular ones on the southeast and also the west coastlines. | | |
