Highlights and Hotpoints in USA This is the flag that hung off the Pentagon after 9/11, and is currently on view at the Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. I know many people have desired to see all 50 states of the United States of America, myself included. My desires were not set afire until one day several years ago while we were on a trip in the northern states, that my husband went out of his way to drive through a new state so he could add another state magnet to my refrigerator! Since then, we've been addicted to hopping in the car and "explore and experience"

Checking off the States . . . As of writing, I've only been in or through 32 states at some point in my life. Each of my tips will be more like sharing photographs rather than largely helpful tips, and since I'm not looking for ratings here, you'll actually find very little logic, if any at all to the placement of some photos and stories linked to some of the tips they're tied to. (Apologies to tip groupers in advance)

My collection of "Photographing USA" I'm a very amateur photographer, so I'm not saying much for some of the photographs, but I will mention that I've improved over the recent years ... it's amazing how much better a photographer one can be with an upgrade from an instamatic camera! Of course, my new camera is automatic with manual options that I haven't read up on, so don't engage in camera discussions with me ... you'll find me to be very ignorant on the topic. While most photos are my own, I will make credits to any I have not taken myself.
My pick of pictures will be the ones "I" selected as favorites because of a particular memory, and may not meet your expectations as a great photograph ... however, please over look these flaws while I share my photographic view of my homeland, USA | | |
