For me the coolest part of living here in Vancouver is the ocean! We are surrounded on three sides by water, beaches and abundant sealife. In the warmer months I enjoy kayaking, dragonboating and beach volleyball. My dog enjoys the long seaside foot and cycle paths with the awesome mountain views. Skiing is extremely popular with the tourists and locals. However, I am one of the 5 people in the city of 2.5 million that doesn't ski so if you're looking for skiing information go look at someone else's page! Eventually, I'll get some interesting things posted here!

This is an awesome site! It has a webcam set up at Jericho beach which is one of the beaches which is close to my house. It's a great beach for walking my best friend (see home page pic!). the image here changes every ten minutes:
