"Kruger National Park" Kruger National Park by Grootpiet
Kruger National Park Travel Guide: 635 reviews and 1,532 photos
Named after President Paul Kruger, the park was one of the first protected wildlife areas in South Africa.
At approx. 20,000 sq. km, today it's one of South Africa's major tourist destinations.
Not as well-run, or as luxurious as some of the smaller game reserves bordering it to the west, Kruger still has lots of charm, and is considerably lighter on the wallet.
