Budapest is lovely. For its architecture from the Habsburg era, for the views from the Buda hills, for its nice wine bars, for its thermal baths, for its Opera House, for its Parisian avenues and much more.
As a city Budapest has a romantic feel to it. But its inhabitants can also look very grumpy as in any big city i guess.
with close to 2 million inhabitants, Budapest is by far the biggest city in Hungary. All the roads in the country seem to lead to either Budapest, or lake Balaton.
