You could say that Romania it’s not the most beautiful country in the world, that Bucharest it’s an ugly city, full of angry people. And you could not be more wrong.
It’s not an easy place, but if you really take the effort to “see” it, you’ll discover the magic of the Carpats. You’ll see places in Bucharest so full of charm that you’ll think you are in Paris. And you’ll realise that Romanian people are incredibly nice; it’s just that they don’t look like that.
- Pros:Really charming
- Cons:Sadly poor
- In a nutshell:A city with personality

Thanks, this is always a concern when getting into a new city. As long as you have an idea of what it should be its easier to get around, without being taken for granted. Thanks!!
what's wrong with that?
I think that people underestimate Romania. Hopefully as more people see it, they will spread the word of how nice it is, and then more people will visit. See Danube Delta and Tansylvania too!
Some useful info-but you don't need to pay more than $10 (300,000 lei), at the most, for a cab into town from the airport
Wow ! You've been to Bucharest, too. Few people ever get here. Interesting point of view though... too bad no pics :( As for me, loved Barcelona more than Madrid :)
Hmm.. I don't know much about Romania. Sounds like a very interesting place to check out!
I love Romania. Useful tips. What about some more pics?
