"Just 30 minutes from Dublin..." Howth by agarcia
Howth Travel Guide: 184 reviews and 587 photos
If it weren't for the humid weather of Dublin, it could be quite easy to forget how close to the Sea the city is. So on my last day in Ireland, I changed for a while the lively streets of Dublin, for the relative quietness of Howth.
Wanting just a break, I was surprised by finding in Howth a charming village, with the invigorating scent of the sea, the activity of its fisher's port and the marvellous and enigmatic Irish coastline... And it was probably that view, the same that you have seen in the entry picture, what convinced me to travel back to Ireland and explore its countryside. But that's just a plan for the nearby future, and now, Howth is waiting :-)

Howth looks like a nice place! I will defenitly make a daytrip there when I visit Dublin.
Thanks for your helpful Howth page.... think I'll check it out for myself now.
Lovely page Alfredo! Looks like you had better weather on your visit to Howth than I did!! :))
Great tips and pich. Hope I'll visit Ireland one day...
Its looks like that Howth is worth more than just one day visit. Really fine presentation of that charming village.
one fine day, i must make it to Ireland...
This is on the itinerary too. Thanks for the tips.
I kneeeew you had that certain something, the gift for finding and appreciating GARGOYLES! Such an artful use of language too...so what else is new! Enigmatic. That applies to Ireland and her people *and* some of their New World ancestors...;--}
Me gusta caminarme por el mar también, pero prefiero uno con la agua tibia.
That coastline is great. Looks like if you tried to walk to the water, however, you'd lose your shoes in the mud. *squick*!
