My first trip to the USA was in June '98 and the first stop -- San Francisco! I don't remember many details such as how many days I was there, but I do remember the fun I had and the fascination with San Francisco. So, over here, I'd attempt to recall what I did and comment on them base on this very subjective memory... ================================ =======================
I just completed my trip to San Francisco. I was there from 5th to 8th June and i sure packed it in! There were so many things to do and so little time...
We went to Alcatraz and did a mini City tour the first day, Yosemite took up the entire second day, and Muir Woods and Sonoma Valley took up the most of the third day. We also covered Chinatown on the third day.
Union Square was undergoing a face-lift when we were there, so we didn't get to really see it. And there was just no time to do any shopping here at all!
We left San Francisco on the fourth day and made our way down the Pacific Coastal Highway 1 to Los Angeles!
Read my travelogue for more details and photos! :)
Have fun! |

jonobass Mon Jan 8, 2007 13:35 UTC Papillon was set on Devil's Island off the coast of Venezuela, and not on Alcatraz | Tugboatguy Wed Oct 26, 2005 06:58 UTC Francesca, for a really great steak, try Ernie's on Montgomery Street. Superlative ambience, attentive wait staff and best food in San Francisco. You won't be disappointed! But, expensive!
