One of the stops we made in our Italy trip was at Verona!
The famous city immortalised in Shakespeare's popular tragedy "Romeo and Juliet".
I was thrilled to be able to see this city, and to visit the actual site of the "Capulet" house that inspired the story...
The interesting thing about Verona is that it also has a Coliseum!
I found Verona a very lively place bustling with activity and life! Really enjoyable... they also had some good shopping opportunities. There was a street that was lined with shops on both sides that you had to walk through to reach Juliet's balcony...
;) I'm sure i know why... |
