Just a 2 hour ride from Bangkok...

is a different space.

Pattaya is the nearest beach resort from Bangkok and is easily accessible.

The new motorway is a long and straight highway that passes through endless fields of green and streams.

We chose to stay at Jomtien Beach as recommended by some VTers and it was indeed a much nicer beach than the main Pattaya beach which is hardly a beach at all!

I like staying away from the main action as the Pattaya beach area is very commercialised and packed with shops, and more shops.

Pros and Cons

Pros:The Beach, Seafood and Sunshine!
In a nutshell:I'd go to the Beach Resort & Club again...
