Second Visit

Fabulous visit to see my daughter and family, 4wks. [This was my earlier visit in recent years - Mar/Apl 2002]
Background:
My first and original visit to Ireland was when I was a mere lad of about 22yr. I crossed from Fishguard to Rosslare to look after a young relative for a couple of weeks - it was a working vacation for me. Thus I was in the very south of Ireland, near Kenmare, and so fell in love with the country back then. I was a guest of a retired medical doctor who was also a professional photographer. It was from his house overlooking Kenmare Bay that I took what is probably my best photo ever - with his instructions - of the sunset over the mountains looking towards Dingle. We would go to church by boat onto the northern coast across the Bay. And in that Bay was the first time I ever sailed a boat in my young life.

Returned in Nov 2003 just after my second grandson, Aidan, was born. We came back to Canada together and they lived with us for 11mo. Dr Mike Graduated in June of 2004 and came home at last.
Now, I just need another excuse to go back to Dublin - well, anywhere in Ireland really!
