Well, I don't exactly live in Manchester (not anymore as I have moved to a village called Hadfield in Derbyshire.) However I have lived the 26years of my life in South Manchester before my move last February and where I currently live is only 25 minuties drive from the city. I love Manchester! It is my favourite city in the world (apart from maybe Singapore!)And in my opinion it is the absolute best city in the UK! I know its cliched but the people really are friendlier up north! Also thanks to a mix of the Commonwealth games this summer and the IRA serveral years ago the city has been cleaned up and renovated! Luckily the IRA concentrated their bomb blasts to the disgusting 1960s architecture and left the grand Victorian/Georgian buildings alone! I am going to devote this page to the city and then set up another page for Derbyshire where I now live which is a fab place to get away from it all. Hope you find it useful.
