"Budget hotel" for business travellers and other London, United Kingdom Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

Simple hotel for budget business travellers. It is a four stars one but the rooms are quite small and equipped with single bed usually. The toilet in the room is also very cramp. However comparablly cheap given its location.

110 pounds incl. VAT. No breakfast. You may ask to get slippers.

Attention:
Dont ask the hotel to get you a TAXI!! That was a privately own van, without meter but negotiating prices. I spent 22 pounds to travel from Hype park to Jermyn street, and walked another 10 mins to get to my destination!! Horrible

189 Pounds incl. VAT. A Luxury hotel, however, 15 pounds for in room Internet connetion, no water, no fruit, no slippers, no breakfast, Gym is in another building and only avaliable before 9pm, etc...

You just have a bed to sleep, indeed.

The normal room is kind of small and old.

While the upgraded luxury room is good, equipped with a stylish LCD TV

The nearest Tube station is about 8 mins away by walk, which is not so great.

An elegant, luxury hotel, known for its famous restaurant Brasserie Roux.

I want to talk about the color in the hotel - Black. In the lobby, and especially in the guest room, all furnitures are black, or almost black. And all pictures hang in the room, corridors are framed in black frames.

In general, I found dark color is very popular among European high-end/luxury hotels - given my business travel experience in the last 1.5 years. Probably because the clients - typically mid-aged European businessman like it.

Dark color is too heavy for me, and too "traditional" looking. After a day of tiring work, I'd prefer like color, relaxing ambience with modern furnitures.
