Het Zand: Guinness again Tavernes and regular pubs Review

This pub is the Antwerp's best kept secret. Fortunately, Rudy (diamonddog) can't keep secrets and showed this bar to a few VTers that wanted to drink and didn't feel like walking around the city for the 10th time.
Het Zand is a tiny pub that serves pretty good Guiness beer, it is locatef right across from the famous tunnel which takes you all the way accross the river. If you're lucky you may find an empty table at this bar, although usually it is really packed with people, especially late in the evening.

Celtic Ireland: The best Guinness

I was told that this is the best Irish pub in town so one day I decided to check it out. Yes, I know that Belgians have great beer but I live so close to the border so I can always go there again and to enjoy it at any time.
The pub is located on the Groenplaats and has a nice bar on the first floor and a restaurant on the second. It is nicely decorated and gives you a great Irish atmosphere.
At first I was a bit shocked by the Guinness prices but once I tasted it I realized that it is worth every cent.
The Celtic Ireland also has live music performances and accpets reservations for private parties.

The Irish Times: Great pub in the city center

This Irish pub is situated right on the Grote Markt of Antwerp. It serves pretty much every kind of beer that you'd expect in an Irish bar. You can go there just for beer and you can also watch a soccer game when there's any. Last time I was in this place they had Halloween celebrations. I found it pretty strange but it was fun to see the bar decorated with all the spiders and witches.
If you walk toward this bar from the Grote Markt looking specifically for an Irish bar avoid the place called "The Dubliner" only the name of the bar is Irish but everything else is not.
