Traben-Trarbach

Traben-Trarbach is a town that stands on both sides of the Mosel river and at first you’ll never know which one is Traben and which is Trarbach, because now they are one place, but quite some time ago the two were separate villages.

You won’t have to look for specific tourist attractions because this place can be appreciated just the way it is. Just walk around and enjoy it. It wouldn’t be so special if vineyards and the river weren’t there. It could be just another typical, small German town but the Brueckenschaenke makes you believe that you just arrived into a fairytale town.
And then, if you plan to stay overnight definitely take a room with a balcony. I was obsessed with balcony, otherwise how would I enjoy the full view with a glass of wine in my hand? Actually, how would I enjoy wine if I’m devoted beer drinker? Traben-Trarbach is indeed a magical place.

Obviously you liked the place. I'd like to try Tr-Tr too. But as a smoker -like me- you should respect no-smoking signs. Those who pay for non-smoking environment doesn't want to smell cigarette on their balcony.
