Albreda is a small rail stop between Blue River and Valemount. Not much here except gorgeous mountain vistas, forested hillsides, the winding river. The bottom lands are home to a few bears, moose and deer. The mountains to the west are the Premier Range, rising to more than 11,000 feet.

The principal occupation around here is logging.
