The Spirit of Alberta...Locomotive 6060
I had the opportunity to photograph this gorgeous machine om July 1 as part of the Canada Day celebrations in Stettler and Big Valley.

Those are beautiful photos of the train ride to Big Valley! That loco is a beaut - I just posted on my 'Regina' page some pics of one of CPR's biggest locomotives (old #3101 Northern-type).
Why do we love trains so much? Since I met you last summer, I wondered how that pic turned out I saw on your camera .. the one w/ sparks flying about ;) As for your upcoming meeting? I'm terribly jealous!
