I was in Zimbabwe when it was called Salisbury and then Harare. It was a beautiful place as far as I can remember. Very western, in many of it's landmarks. At this juncture in time, you may be aware that the situation is a little bit grave. In regards to travelling there; it is a risk one might want to take on their on. But all is not lost! It is a beautiful country and has lots of friendly people. One just has to be careful where they travel too and what they do. All in all, Zimbabwe is one of the most beautiful countries in sub-sahara.
