"Thalor's Balticon adventure in Baltimore" Baltimore by Thalor

I stayed in Baltimore a couple times on vacation. The first and by far most exciting time was the week of my first ever vacation during the first year of my first full time job.

I attended the annual Worldcon science fiction convention, which as luck would have it, was being held just 50 miles away from where I happened to be living at the time in Northern Virginia. Right over in Baltimore!

I bought a brand new 35 mm camera - my first ever non instamatic type camera. I went to the conference and had the time of my life for a whole week.

I had been avidly reading science fiction books since I was in second grade. I was 20 at the time, so that makes it about 13 years.

The conference was held in the big convention center downtown, next to the Inner Harbor.

Right next to it was "little italy". I dined once or twice at a little Italian restaurant there called "Little Italy" that a woman at work had recommended. The food was delicious!
