This amazing sight is looking toward Mt. Dundas. The photo was taken about 2 am (0200) and as you can see, the sun is still shining brightly. (Or it would have been had it not been so overcast! <grin>)
You KNOW that something has gone amiss with your rational thinking when you volunteer to go to a place that is too far north to see the Northern Lights!
Finally got my scanner working and my pictures found, so I'll be adding a bit to this page as time goes on!
This stream was formed from the melting snow. This picture was taken in the early summer about 10 pm (2200).

- Pros:The malls aren't crowded at Christmas!
- Cons:There are no malls to be crowded. :(
- In a nutshell:If you like to get away from it all, this is your place!

Hi, CHris! It's interesting about the sandwiches and the Club itself! I enjoyed the views of the countryside...
Chris, fabulous page with brilliant photos of a place which I only know as a brand for luggage racks for cars. I am looking forward to meeting you again in Krakow. :-)
What a treat! I was stationed at Thule in 1955-56 time frame. No running water, 3 min showers, marine toilets, etc Thanks for bringing this experience to others.
Great tips on a fascinating place! If I ever make it to Greenland I will certainly take someone with me whom I can outrun! ; )
Having my own personal stalker makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. My life would be so incomplete with out one. Would you like on also, I'm sure I could arrange for it.
I want to go there! Need I say more? Happy birthday from Finland!
Fascinating pages and photos. I hope to get there. Ann, The Travel Slut
