I have now been to Beijing twice. The first time I did the mandatory things like climb the wall and watch the flag raising at Tienamen Square.
The second time I visited with friends and enjoyed the food and shopping. |

last feb was my first time in beijing... very cold for someone from the tropics. but i think travellers should visit the great wall, forbidden city & tiananmen square at least once to have a better u/standing while reading chinese books. | travelmaven Mon Jul 25, 2005 03:05 UTC
