Two years ago we didn't like Tralee at all and thought it was an ugly town. Now we saw completely different town and liked it quite a lot. After booking beds in the hostel, which was more than a youth hostel but less than a hotel, but as cheap as a hostel and the price included the breakfast, too. We slept in the dormitory of six, but the lady promised it for the two of us.

One night we walked back to the hostel through this park only to notice that its gates were closed. We had to turn back and return to the other end and all the time we were wondering what we'd do if the gates there were closed, too. There weren't any gates in that part of the park at all, so we couldn't understand why to lock the gates in one side of the park, when there aren't any in the other side of it!

Irish are known for their love of drink, though we only experienced it in the Kingdom of Kerry museum.

That is not a well. It is a tap for Catholic believers to get some water that has been blessed by a priest, therefore making it "holy water".

That museum looks interesting ! such holy wells are found in many places, mostly a heritage of celtic times and the population sometimes even gives donations there to the watergods... (although mostly they are better maintained wells !)
