Taxinge is a small village in Nykvarn, about 80 km Southwest from Stockholm and 20 km from Sodertalje. My daughter moved there with her fiance four years ago, so I go there from time to time, though I have to admit that they come to Finland more often. Nykvarn is an excellent day trip destination and a good alternative to places like Sodertalje and Mariefred. It's rural and you would not think that you are so close to Sweden's capital.
