Meeting Roland and town musicians Having been in the import business for 30 years terms of delivery FOB Bremen had become very familiar to me but it was only in 1991 when I finally visited that beautiful city and realised that it had much more to offer than transport to everywhere in Europe and outside it.
My stay in Bremen was only a short one. My friend from Dörverden took me there for a day and though we tried to pack as much as possible to our stay we still managed to see very little. Bremen's Market Square is surrounded by historic buildings and is regarded as one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. There's Town Hall, dating from 1405, St Peter's Cathedral (1042), the merchants' houses that date back to the Weser Renaissance era around 1600, and the statue of Roland and many others. |
