Appleton is a city with approximately 80,000 residents surrounded by smaller cities like Neenah, Menasha, Little Chute, Kimberly, Kaukauna, etc. that make up what we call the Fox Cities located in the Fox Valley on the banks of the Fox river. It is a great place to live with 4 distinct seasons, plenty to do, a stable economy, and a relaxed atmosphere.

I loved Appleton. Houdini was raised there and Edna Ferber was born there. Apperantly she worked at the local newspaper there.

We were at the Steelers game at Lambeau where Yancy Thigpen dropped the ball in the end zone. Have had 4 white Xmases in West Bend with relatives. Good last win even with 4's bunged up thumb!
