MAY 18 - JUNE 1, 2002. Two weeks in Rome. Since we have two little children we took it slow and easy in Rome which isn't easy to do and I'm sure if you ask most people, they just couldn't say the same thing. Venice is my favorite city, but for a travel destination of more than 2 days I would suggest Rome. Rome is rich with history. An abundance of monuments, fountains, piazzas, catherdrals & churches, ruins, interesting buildings, ice cream, and cats make Rome wonderful. We had a great time in Rome. The weather was fantastic, it rained only one day and the temperature was normally around 25C/77F. |
