"Tavarua" Tavarua Island by Boarderxm7

Tavarua is an awesome little island that you take a boat to from taveuni. It's about a thirty minute boat ride. You can grab some sugar cane off the main land before you get on the boat and chew on it for the whole trip over...it's great. Tavarua has two of the most famous surf breaks in the world; Cloudbreak and Restaurants. You can walk around the island in about 15 minutes, and there's beautiful shells all over the place. All that's on the island is a surf resort with about 20-so bungalos and a little fijian tribe in the middle of the island. The people there are the nicest people i've ever met. The best part of my trip there was renting a boogie board and paddling out at restaurants just before sunset and looking down at beautifully colored fish and coral, cruising out to where this perfect left breaks about a quarter mile out from land and watched the sunset while sitting on my board right next to the line up.
